A while back my friend Scott Candey was kind enough to send me a stack of discs from the underground Black Metal label Bindrune Recordings.
I enjoyed everything I heard but two bands in particular stood out:
Blood of the Black Owl (above is their cover for the album "A Feral Spirit") and Wodesnthone (below is the cover for their album "Loss").
Blood of the Black Owl has a new release called "A Banishing Ritual" - I will have to check that out for sure.

Glad you liked them. "A Banishing Ritual" is a bit different than the others in that it's basically one track in 4 movements. More experimental elements worked in that all come together really well.
