Philly's Danger After Dark Mini-Film Fest

Sometimes living in Philadelphia is depressing. The whores, skunk pussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal. Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.

Ahem... sorry. For a minute there I lost myself.

Anyhow, SOMETIMES Philly is a great place to live. One of those sometimes is coming up shortly thanks to the Danger After Dark Mini-Film Festival!

"We have a gorgeously ultra-stylized homage to the Italian giallo mysteries of the 1960s and 70s (Amer); a high-voltage Japanese gore-comedy starring strippers with large breasts (Big Tits Zombies 3-D); a seemingly idyllic small town suddenly transforms into a breeding ground for violence and paranoia (Deliver Us From Evil); three adults who have been raised since birth entirely within the enclosed family estate have their hermetic captivity horrifically shattered (Dogtooth); a mind-blowing journey into the afterlife, as filtered through the neon-bathed Tokyo underworld (Enter The Void); an outrageous, long-lost 1970s American grindhouse bombshell that is now completed and released for the first time (Gone with the Pope); a traveling band of anarchist pornographers venturing into snuff filmmaking (The Life and Death of a Porno Gang); a harrowing character study of loneliness and violence among young lovers in Texas (Red, White and Blue); one of the most deliriously over-the-top Japanese action/science fiction/comedies imaginable (RoboGeisha); a factory manager finds his grip on everyday life spiraling into a chaos that is terrifying…and darkly funny (The Temptation of St. Tony); and a French chef takes on the triads with revenge on his mind (Vengeance)."

Oh yes. Philly can be good.
